Cheap Wedding Catering Idea

For any bride or groom contemplating a second job to fund a wedding, GO WORK AT A RESTAURANT! Most independantly owned places (not huge chains) will let you order off the truck when their own orders come in. I work at a deli/bakery and every girl who has gotten married that worked for us saved HUGE by ordering all the food directly from our vendors. Plus, there's usually a handful of us who will moonlight for cooking for what our normal pay is plus a few margaritas. Imagine getting all the food for your reception for what the caterer/grocery store pays, and an experienced crew for $7-10 an hour. I and 2 other girls handled a reception for 100 for one girl, and a full sit down dinner came in at $8 a person. Depending on where you get a job at, you may be able to pick up a bartender too.
