Who wouldn’t love a freebie for their wedding? And although it is quite possible to spend a fortune on your invites, you can find free wedding invitations too. I know, mad isn’t it, just don’t tell the wedding stationers.
As with nearly everything that is free, you will have to spend time creating your invites.
A template is a guide which will show you where you will need to type your names and details. They are a complete sanity saviour and these look fab too.
1. Wedding Chicks are masters in creating super looking wedding invitations.
They currently have 27 invitation styles to choose from, which you personalize with your details and the colors you want to use.
When you are happy you choose to download your file as a .png document, which I then altered and printed using photoshop. You will need your own graphics package to deal with that.
Or you could take the file to your local printers and have it printed for you.
2. Printable Invitation Kits is a great site for invitations you can download and personalize. The designs are very modern and there are loads to choose from.
You download a pdf of the invite you want for free, this will come in a zip folder containing the invite, RSVP and also the fonts that they use.
It is a good idea to use the fonts that they suggest otherwise you can get yourself in a bit of a mess! Yes, that is the voice of experience!
3. We have free printable invites too…
4. Love and Lavender have a lot of fun and free wedding invitations
Quite a bit of choice and you are able to personalize them yourself
Of course you don’t have to use templates to design your own invites, start from scratch and do everything yourself means that you will have a truly unique invitation.
