Green, Black and White Favours and Centrepieces

Hi my wedding is September the 11th 2009 and my colours are lime green black and white and im looking for different ideas as i have none! lol thanks per table of eight at about $20 a person i have 60 guests also table centerpieces ?? any ideas

I love the colour combination, very dramatic! The colours will give a very deco look to your wedding.

A very effective and cheap lime green centerpiece is to have fruit; apples, kiwis, green grapes, limes - anything green that is in season and cheap! Arrange them on a black plate - keep an eye out for these in discount shops and attach all the fruit together using toothpicks so that they form a pyramid. Paint egg white onto the fruit and dip in sugar to add white into the centerpiece.

Another green centerpiece idea is to use mini topiary trees, place them in black pots with a white ribbon tied round the pot.

A dramatic look to your favours is also needed, find black and white designed paper - wallpaper would work well and make them into cones. You can then fill them with lime green candy which you could buy in bulk from sweet shops. Don't make the cones too big otherwise they will overtake the table and it will cost more to fill.
