Inexpensive Weddings For 2012
What's Hot This Year?
Inexpensive weddings are 2012's biggest wedding trend, couples are looking for ways to have a stylish wedding without it costing a fortune.
Hot trends on the catwalk in this season's
wedding gowns are lace, vintage, embroidered, colors and full skirts.
Lace wedding dresses are very popular this year, with similiarities to the Royal wedding dress in many examples. Lace sleeves and what is being called an illusion neckline are in lots of designs.
Vintage wedding dresses are still popular, mainly because they don't date. A classic 1950's wedding dress will still be a classic now and if you are lucky enough maybe your mom or your gramdmother still has their own wedding dress that you can borrow.
Colors are also big this year, Vera Wang has black and a nude pinky color in her collection. The great thing about looking for a colored wedding dress is that you can look at colored ball gowns and save yourself a fortune! If you can wait until just after the prom season you will be sure to find yourself a great deal. And ball gown style dresses are also a trend for this year.
Embroidered wedding dresses are also popular but this is going to be a more expensive option as the skill and time it takes to create these dresses is huge. However embroidered belts and sashes would add a touch of embroidery to your wedding dress.
A very big trend that is going to explode this year is the themed wedding, I know themed weddings have been around for a while but they are getting more and more popular. You can still have a
cheap wedding reception and a full on theme if you make your own wedding items.
Wedding venues are also much more creative, think museums, cafes and parks. You don't have to go with the most popular wedding venue to have your dream wedding as there are so many alternatives that are stunning locations. 2012 is a year for creative and unique weddings, if you have a great cheap wedding idea come and
share it here!
