Inexpensive Weddings For 2010

What Is Hot This Year?

Inexpensive weddings are 2010's biggest wedding trend, couples are looking for ways to have a stylish wedding without it costing a fortune.

Hot trends on the catwalk in this season's wedding dresses are off the shoulder dresses, floaty dreamlike dresses and also a short hemline.

Floaty dresses have been popular in high street dress shops for a couple of summers now so it would be worth having a look here for an informal floaty dress. Think tulle!

Shorter dresses are also great if you are a fan of vintage or if you have been looking at secondhand dresses. Wedding dresses that have been worn before have a tendancy to get grass stains on the hem which are a nightmare to get out, but the beauty of these is they will be cheaper. Try and find a dress that would work shorter and have a chat with a local dressmaker for their opinion too. The cost of a damaged secondhand wedding dress and the dressmakers fee will be less than if you looked to buy a short wedding dress new.

inexpensive weddings, hair, by martin kingsley As with 2009 wedding trends accessories are popular! We are talking big flowers, statement jewelry and headbands all of which you can either make yourself or buy cheaply through places like.

If you are looking to make your flower accessories all you need is some material, cut out flower shapes and then layer them on top of each other so they overlap and then secure together with a bead or button. Use a hot glue gun to secure a pin if you want to wear as a brooch or to attach to a headband.

Another hot trend is birdcage veils follow the link to see how to make your own, they are fairly easy!

Hot trends for your wedding reception are inexpensive weddings in your backyard, barbeques, cake and tea, and cocktails and canapes. These are all great ways to save money on wedding menu.

Wedding venues are also much more creative, think museums, cafes and parks. You don't have to go with the most popular wedding venue to have your dream wedding as there are so many alternatives that are stunning locations.

2010 is the year for creative and unique weddings, if you have a great cheap wedding idea come and share it here! You never know yours could be this month's winner!
