Looking for a cheap venue either abroad scotland or south wales

Would like to get married but the price of the venue's and finding the venue which is just right.

Finding the perfect venue can be stressful, as you are based in South Wales I would look to have your wedding near home as this will save you money and travel in the long run. Scotland is beautiful but to try and organise your wedding from Wales could be difficult.

Rather than just looking at the popular wedding venues have a look at golf clubs, sports halls, clubs, restaurants, museums, schools - any venue that can hold the number of guests that you want would be a good place to look at.

Have a look at big holiday houses that you could rent for a week or two, this is becoming a popular choice for couples that are looking for a more personal wedding reception. You would have to mention your plans when booking.

Also have a look at places that could hold a marquee as this can end up being a cheaper option than a big hotel.
