Wedding Color Ideas?

My fiance decided that he wanted a red and black themed wedding... but c'mon this isnt the prom! I have no idea what colors to chose! He refuse to do anything girly from pinks to baby blues. We aren't having a traditional wedding so its not like i have to worry about making sure i have a white dress with the works. We are planning a spring time wedding so maybe matching colors?? Any ideas?

Choosing your color theme can be the hardest choice as everything comes from your colors.

It is possible to have a black and red wedding that looks great, it will give a Deco theme to your wedding. Have a look at the above inspiration board from www.weddingbycolor.com it shows how to make this color combination work.

If you are happy to go with black then a black and white themed wedding looks very classy and the same for red and white.

For Spring colors have a look at sage green, which you could team with chocolate brown, ivory and yellow - not all together that would be horrible!
