Free Wedding Music Samples

Hope your wedding plans are going well and if you are at that stage of choosing the music for your first song, for walking down the aisle or your evening's entertainment then this month's Free Wedding Stuff is for you.

I can remember when we were choosing the music for our ceremony I had no idea where to start, it took ages listening to loads of cds, getting recommendations from friends and family before we decided on Schumann's Dreaming , if you click on the link it will take you to youtube.

Youtube has to be one of the greatest free resources for finding your samples of music that you want to use and also to get ideas. If you type in wedding music to their search box you will have lots of examples of what other brides have played. If nothing else it may end up showing you what you don't want!

You don't have to have the wedding march by Mendelssohn but it is one of the all time favorites, click on the link to take you to a free sample of the music. Classical wedding also has lots of other free classical samples that you can listen to in full to see if that's the one for you.

But what if you don't want classical? Don't worry you can have anything you want, within reason! If you are having your ceremony in a place of worship then you will need to check what they will allow. They will also be able to provide you with examples of popular choices and help you find the right music for you.

For non-religious ceremonies you need to make sure you don't have any religious music, I have known brides to walk down the aisle to "Dancing Queen" by Abba and songs from Disney films. If you have a song that means something to the both of you then that could be perfect for when you walk back down the aisle as husband and wife. If you are looking for free wedding music samples for your first dance then type in first dance to youtube and you will see loads of ideas. Most have a twist with almost stage like performances from some couples, if you have time get the dancing shoes on and have a practice!
