What flowers for a green, brown and ivory wedding?

I plan on having 10 bridesmaids and groomsmen at the most I am just starting to plan. No one knows that my fiance' has popped the question b/c he wants to have majority of the plans laid out but it gets stressful to me. He only asked for one request and that was that green be included in the wedding colors so this is the only combo I could think of but if you have any other beautiful combo selections let me know.

Hi Lynda!

First congratulations!

Green is a great color for your wedding and it works well with ivory. The brown might make it look a bit mossy oak, which is great for a camo wedding but might be a bit much in other settings.

Depending on the shade of green it goes with most colors; purples, reds, oranges, yellows, pinks, blues - really there are endless possibilities.

When you are choosing your bouquets it is worth thinking that you will need to be buying 11 bouquets and that will be expensive. Maybe have one bouquet for you and then have your bridesmaids carry a single stem. One single calla lilly for example with ribbon wrapped around teh stem will cost much less than a full bouquet.

Use the foliage for the green and then have a couple of expensive blooms such as roses and lillies then fill the rest of the bouquet with white carnations or similiar.

It will be worth chatting to your local florists to get ideas.

Good luck with your plans
