Cinderella Wedding For Under $1000

I'm getting married on March 19th I have already bought my wedding dress so now I'm starting off with 1000 dollars for my wedding.

My theme is a cinderella wedding and I am having the ceremony at my church and the reception at someone's youth hall.

I'm having about 200 ppl at my wedding I need help with what I should get for the ceremony for decorations and for the recepton.

I know for the reception I am having a candy table my colors are blue and silver.

$1000 doesn't go a long way so you need to be careful with where you are going to spend it.

Saying that, with help it is possible to have your Cinderella wedding for that budget.

Start by working out what you need to get:

200 people will need some catering and drinks
Entertainment - possibly an mp3 and speakers
Decorations
Cake
Invitations
Flowers

Set your reception to be either in the afternoon and have an afternoon tea theme or have your reception in the evening with dancing and snacks.
A reasonable estimate would be at least $500 for the food and drinks for 200 people and that would not be extravagant.

Check out local supermarkets for wedding cakes and also invitations that you could customize to your theme. Also flowers that you could make into a bouquet.

You will need to get every crafty person you know on the case!

Decorations with silver and blue - if it is the evening borrow everyone's sparkly Christmas lights that are white or blue - make sure you stick a label on each set so you know who to return them to and have a lot of sparkle on the walls.

Buy some cheap meters of tulle in blue and white and have those drapped on the walls and buffet and cake tables.

Add cute accents to your decorations with little hints to your Cinderella theme - you could make up framed words from the story; "Once upon a time" or the song lyrics from the Disney film,

So This Is Love.

So this is love, Mmmmmm
So this is love
So this is what makes life divine
I'm all aglow, Mmmmmm
And now I know
The key to all heaven is mine

My heart has wings, Mmmmmm
And I can fly
I'll touch ev'ry star in the sky
So this is the miracle that I've been dreaming of
Mmmmmm
Mmmmmm
So this is love

Think romance and fairytales when you decide on your decorations. The ceremony could have petals in the aisle and tulle on the pew ends - maybe with silver ribbons.

Have a look for all silver and blue candy you can and buy them in bulk, either from a local cash and carry or online.

Good luck with all your plans, you will get so much satisfaction out of planning your wedding for under $1000 and it will be beautiful.

You can do it!
by: Anonymous

If you do get crafty and creative or find a crafty helper you can do it. My sister did her wedding without our parent financial support and under $1000. A co-worker loaned her a Beautiful dress and got a lot of stuff on sale like ribbons, flowers, silverware and it was lovely. She had great comical friend to MC for her to keep the party going. 200 to 250 people in attendance all fed well and she had the local grocier to do a great cake. My sister is very creative that she did pilars out of empty carpet cardboard tubes and placed the in concrete buckets. She spray painted then and hung light fabric to create a castle like feeling. You can do it, just be creative and shop arround for deals!! Good luck!
