My colors are fuchsia and gray and I have a $15,000 budget.
I'll have around 250 guests and my wedding will be in late July.
I like flowers but they are too expensive. I'm thinking about using a lot of fake flowers, is that too cheap looking?
I also want a creative center piece that is pretty but cheap. I know that flowers will not be cheap...what else could I use?
My ceremony is held in the church I go to and our pastor is marrying us for free. I'm not sure where the reception will be but I'm thinking in a restaurant called Chances R that holds up to 300 people. The restaurant has a log cabin Indiana Jones feel...I don't know if I like that. Please HELP!!! I have two older brothers and I have no experience with weddings. My mom doesn't know what to do either, I NEED help!
Fuschia and Grey Wedding Theme
Think old fashioned with sepia and black and white photos, your centerpieces could be a black and white photo framed of the two of you, or old wedding photos from both sides of the family. Use fuchsia petals and candles to bring the extra color and arrange all of them together in the center of your table as your centerpiece.
The log cabin can fit into the black and white photograph theme, have more photos around the walls as your decorations. These will also be fun for your guests to look at.
Add extra fuschia pink to the room with paper lanterns or petals and candles on the table.
Gerbera daisies are also a cheap centerpiece idea, you can submerge the daisy in a tall glass vase and then have a floating candle on the top.
Or one more idea is to use pink candy, fill a clear vase with the various candies you can find in your colors and then have mini paper bags on the table with your guests names on, these then double up as place cards and also favor bags for their candy!
Here are lots more cheap wedding centerpiece ideas.
Hope this helps you with your ideas.
Good luck with all of your wedding plans.
