We want to have a small wedding about 50 to 100 people within the next 2 years.I dont have any female friends to help so I'm extremely lost. My maid of honor was married in front of the JOP(justice of peace) so she has no idea either. If you could just give me a step by step of what to do and what to expect that would be wonderful. Our colors are baby blue and white. We have 3 boys between us and want them to be a big part of it. We are only having a maid of honor and best man. We are buying our first house so money is extremely tight. My parents and his mother can't help us and his dad is paying for our honeymoon. We are getting as much help from our family and friends as we can. My mother will probably do the cake and one of my friends is doing hair and makeup. Not sure if we have a place yet or not for the wedding and reception. Most likely we are having food catered in.
Sincerely Yours,
Lost in LOve

Hi Heather
First thing don't panic, organising a wedding doesn't have to be stressful and you have given yourself a nice long time to get yourself ready!
Start with setting your budget, how much can you afford and how much can you save until your wedding day. When you have your budget you can then work out the style of your wedding.
With your budget in mind go and have a look at all of the wedding venues in your town, have a look at my cheap wedding reception ideas to find alternative venues and also see how to save money.
When you have found your venue you can then work out numbers and catering. With everything for your wedding make sure you shop around, don't accept your first quote.
Print off how to plan a wedding checklists to make sure you don't forget anything!
The key is to be organised!
To involve your boys you could have them involved in a sand ceremony at your wedding. This is where each of your boys and you and your husband have individual vials of sand, the boys sand could be blue with you and your husband's sand cream. Have a guest explain that you are joining together as a family and each of you will pour the sand into one big vase. The blue and the cream sand will mix together to form a beautiful pattern and will be a lasting memory of your special day.
Have a look at this video to get some ideas.
Good luck with your plans and let me know if you need any more help.
